A Bit About Sid

A copywriter who lives on the internet. Not just scrolling, but studying what sticks. I work where digital, tech, and culture collide (usually in the group chat).

 

Brands like Duolingo, Crocs, AB InBev, PepsiCo, and boAt have trusted me to help them show up in ways that are smart, sharp, and scroll-stopping. No filler, just work that earns attention, whether that means half a billion impressions or wild CTRs.

 

For Duolingo, I helped build the India presence from zero to viral. That led to a seat at HQ in Pittsburgh, work showcased at Cannes Lions, and a loyal audience. I’ve also been named an Abby’s Young Maverick and a 2025 Creative LIAisons mentee.

 

My style? Ambitious, edgy, and allergic to BS.

Made Duolingo India impossible to scroll past: Turned a global brand into a local phenomenon.

  • Took the brand from cool to culturally unmissable with 250K+ followers (IG), 150K+ subscribers (YT), 200M+ impressions, and 3M+ shares. (way more now)

  • Created 50+ pieces of viral content that hit 1M+ views each.

  • Went from writing solo to managing a team of 5-6 creative firecrackers (Video, Art Directors & Copywriters).

  • Led over 10+ brand collaborations with names like Swiggy, Netflix, Nykaa, and Shaadi.com.

  • Executed a guerrilla activation - Proposing Dua Lipa at her concert (yes, ignored, but 14M+ views is iconic).

  • Dropped a Telugu to English course in Andhra Pradesh that had locals raving. (20M+ views)

  • First-ever mascot to strut the runway at Lakme Fashion Week – Gen Z was weak in the knees. (12M+  views) 

  • Turned Lily into Duolingo’s not-so-secondary mascot. (5M+ views)

  • Collaborated with some of India’s coolest creators (Srishti Garg, Hustle Rani, etc.) and delivered the chaos Gen Z loves.

  • Showcased Duolingo India’s work at Cannes Lions and represented the country at Duolingo HQ in Pittsburgh.

World's first sunset rating for Corona:

  • Developed the idea for the world’s first sunset visual quality rating criterion, ‘Corona Sunset View.’ For Corona (AB InBev), the rating on CRED Escapes made sunsets synonymous with the brand, ensuring travellers booked hotel rooms with the most exquisite views.

Cool projects for boAt:

  • Took on AI, turning boAt’s media into a launchpad for emerging artists. The "Breakthrough Music" campaign got two artists signed, 33x listeners, 129% followers, and 180K conversations.

  • Had K-Pop fans going gaga over FloAtverse by boAt, India’s first K-Pop concert in the metaverse.

  • Developed and implemented employer branding and social media creative strategies, focusing on performance and comprehensive 360-degree campaigns.

  • Executed a Valentine's Day campaign for CoinDCX, sending personalized mailers to 1.8 million users that highlighted their relationship with crypto, leveraging app data points.

  • Scripted content for various brands including Sherni (Amazon Prime Video), ASUS Chromebook, Apollo, and ASUS Zenfone.

  • Contributed to the creation of innovative campaigns, such as Agent Tiwari's Special Briefing Google voice activation and The Tomorrow War Augmented Reality campaign for Amazon Prime Video (Living Room Devices).
